Any thoughts? Who might they recruit? Would you go and see them?

Ever since about 1981, I’ve always wanted Mick and Lindsey to go out there and play clubs together. It would be fearless (or would have been in 1981, when they were both still strong). Certainly, there are several people around the periphery who could join them, whether from Lindsey’s most recent solo bands or the guys who orbited around them (Steve Ross, Rick Vito, Todd Sharp, Billy Burnette). But I might get a bigger kick out of it with a fresher face, maybe that country superstar who likes Lindsey so much. Maybe they could put a large group together similar to the 1993 tour group and feature Mick on a more prominent drum kit. Only don’t orchestrate the show quite so intricately. Let yourselves jam like the old days. Play the wildest, craziest, wackiest “Not That Funny” you’ve ever played.
