Yes, I think you're right. I suspect the journalist was reeling a bit after Christine's passing. Little Lies to me feels more like an encapsulation of the 80s to me. Like Everywhere there's a hell of a lot of emotion efficiently packed into three minutes or so. It was always being played at university when it was first released. "Oh, so that's Fleetwood Mac?"
