she clearly hadn't gotten a makeup artist or hairstylist yet and was still doing it all herself.... Which is an artifact of the times as well-- now every unknown dip**** has a makeup person and hair person and record companies provide them for new artists.. I miss those days when bands were more real and fans could actually get closer to them
