You are speaking on a matter of opinion here, and calling it fact...saying a song is better is opinion, no matter how you say it. Who says that a great song has to have atleast two notes vocally? I mean really...and what you consider compelling melodies are not what everyone else does. I personally like the song Peacekeeper and I agree I would say it is musically a better song, but I don't think that's the case for all of Lindsey's songs on Say You Will. (Although I think Peacekeeper is rather boring live, and would much rather hear Say You Will live.)
Opinions are what make a song good to you..what YOU Like...and you can say there's a difference, but there is not. I don't think the guitar part in Peacekeeper is any more artistic than the guitar part in Say You Will..do you?
