They did have their Famer's Daughters and Seven Wonders moments, and the Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan songs that were considered for SYW (only the latter of which was included, albeit as a bonus track). Maybe if they did Blue Letter after the 75 album it would have been made a co-write somehow.
Agreed it's unlikely to have been an album opener, though.
