Got it. That’s probably true about the new material being better accepted, but on the other hand, I feel like most folks who went to see the Dance tour had also seen the Dance special on TV, so they were already familiar with the new songs. As you said earlier, those new songs were lazy- personally I think they were pretty bad. I can tolerate My Little Demon but that’s it. I also think it says a lot about FM’s creativity even in 1996 that despite having 4 new songs, it was Silver Springs and Landslide that got significant radio play.
