I don’t think it’s a question of Mick thinking he’s too good to play the county fair circuit at all. Note that for the Buck/Vie album, which was a FM album, the tour excluded Mick and John, and I would bet big money it was not their decision to not tour, but rather Lindsey and Christine’s decision. Why pay John and Mick their share of the tour profits when they can hire studio musicians and make more profits for themselves?
