The Men of Mac would have been a very interesting way to remain active while Stevie was not interested. But also, they’d never do it. I doubt Mick in 1998-9 would want to go back to playing small shows so soon after the county fair circuit before The Dance. Again, you’d risk pissing off Stevie and ending Fleetwood Mac as an arena band.
