I agree that the music is the key thing. However, who on this board did not get even just a little weepy/emotional/excited/whatever when Stevie and LB were locked on each others' eyes during the live performances of Say Goodbye (a "new" song) - it was reported that LB even seemed to manage to cry during some of these performances. Who didn't just get a little emotional, etc., when LB and SN clearly connected during and after Landslide. I think people see this level of emotion even though it essentially is the same "performance" for want of a better word every night - I think the emotion between them is genuine even though it may be premeditated in that they know they have to do the Landslide hug, the Tusk Dance, etc. So, I think the music would not be the same without the emotional outlay and all that comes with that. I also think SN and LB cannot "turn it off," although they can and have turned it to anger (which is next door to affection IMHO).
