Just watched "The Chain." I think the horribly bright, blinking stage lights were used on purpose to make it hard for the audience to see who was on stage. I thought John's solo sounded pretty good. I think I could hear both Stevie and Christine singing during the first couple of phrases before the song starts to get loud, but after that I really couldn't distinguish either of their voices in the murky sound created by too many people on stage. I think Chris may have played a little bit of piano -- I thought I heard a few tinkles on the piano around 1:20 and then again after the 2 minute mark (she did seem to be doing something with her hands during that section), but maybe it was mystery keyboard guy. And who was mystery guitar guy? (standing behind Chris). I didn't realize they were adding THREE guitarists!

The most annoying thing in any FM TV broadcast is how much the camera focuses on Stevie, even when it isn't her song. This has been the case for forty three years, so the fact that they did it on this song is nothing new, but it's still really annoying.
