This has been my read on the situation as well- Lindsey will return for a massive farewell tour in several years. I’m not sure I agree that the whole thing is planned... but I suspect that’s how it will likely end. I tend to believe after dedicating their entire adult lives and legacies to this band, that they’ll want to end it on their own terms, in a respectable way. Going out with replacement guitarists from a potpourri of 1980s bands isn’t how any of the 5 will want the story to end.
