Of all of the songs you mention, Danny's Chant is the strongest, imo. It may not be nearly as strong as the strongest songs on Bare Trees, but it does manage to innovate even within its tightly-constrained form. I would definitely have chosen Trinity over Danny's Chant, but the latter is still pretty darn good. Danny went out with a bang.
