I think the video is full of passive-aggressive swipes at Stevie and acknowledgments that this is a Fleetwood Mac album.
Even my best friend who only knows about Mac through me responded this way to the video (unprompted): a) "the songs sound great!" b) "Christine is so cute--but she has ooooold lady arms" c) "The video should have been 1/3 as long; it's very repetitive with all the veiled digs at Stevie and the efforts to rub Stevie's face in it; Stevie should see all 17 minutes, but I didn't need to"
So I don't think it's "us" who are bringing up Stevie; we are just responding to the video itself.
Nobody in this band has gotten over anything.
Stevie and Lindsey will be at war until they stop breathing.
It's just they are no longer at war in the studio and on the same records anymore.
