I'll never understand why Lindsey and Stevie didn't capitalize on The Dance and re-release BN in 1998 for its 25th anniversary once Chris left and toured as BN. With Christine back though...wow, that was basically the one thing that could generate interest in the band again after a decade of same-old tours. And they HAD the momentum..again! And then boom, no new music, no new plans...just another potential world tour with the same set, same lame stories, and rougher voices.
The four who are interested should finish recording and release the damn album. Stevie's presence isn't exactly going to have them selling millions, so just make the thing and get on with it.
These people are legitimately way too old to be wasting time. Either disband or do SOMETHING.

Perfectly stated. When I read Mick's comments in the RS article today, I was BEYOND FRUSTRATED. What gives?
What is this, Whack-A-Mole? One ESSENTIAL member spends YEARS in a SELF IMPOSED EXILE walking dogs and gardening; as soon as enough begging convinces
HER to rise from the grave, the HIGH PRIESTESS decides to pull this "Mabel Normand" crap and run off with the mad hatter (Run for your life, Alice, SERIOUSLY?). Then, once we convince these two princesses to get their act together, the "tortured creative genius" develops a sudden case of AGORAPHOBIA, pulls a Great Garbo, and wants to spend time
alone recording banging sounds on a bathroom floor. I've invested nearly 40 years consuming this band's product, merchandise, and live performances. Girl,
I'm the one who needs a little sympathy! This band actually has a chance to go out in style by creating a great piece of art together in the twilight of their career. Instead, they'd rather behave like
spoiled brats. I'm seriously about to toss my platform boots into the bonfire and walk away. Ugh, somebody give me a Xanax!
