The soap opera crap that the fans buy into with the band is as painful as anything the band does to encourage it - when I saw teenagers squealing at the site of L&S hugging in 2014 it made me want to barf. These two are bordering on 70 and have played their stupid 40-year old broken relationship up so much over the years....that ANYONE gives a rat's behind anymore is just beyond me.

I agree it's so cringeworthy (not to mention kind of creepy) to still be talking about relationships that ended 40 years ago as if it were yesterday. What it should be is a tiny footnote in what made Rumours great, but it really has no bearing on anything happening today, to folks approaching 70 years old. To me, it is a very cheesey and cynical marketing ploy, for a band that wanted to go in a direction so far away from Rumours in 1979, it has spent the last 40 years capitalizing on something that happened within about a 2year time frame. So much life has happened since, move on already
