'Street Angel' is a good album, with great songs, marred by sludgy production.

Aside from the "what was she thinking?" inclusions of "Docklands," and "Just Like A Woman," there really is nothing wrong with the song selection, IMO.

I happen to quite enjoy "Unconditional Love"... I think it's a sweet, lilting song, very much unlike the songs Stevie usually sings, and yet one which fits perfectly with Stevie's personality.
And I even like the line, "the one condition of love, is there are none at all."
Sure, it seems to contradict itself, but it makes perfect sense within the framework of a sweet little pop love song.

I also like "Listen To The Rain," and its references.
My favorite TV show around that time was 'Dark Shadows'... and my favorite books were 'Beauty And The Beast,' and 'Phantom Of The Opera.'
So I've always thought it was pretty cool that Stevie mentioned each of those.

As I've said, I believe 'Street Angel' is unfairly maligned... often by folks who perennially desire Stevie to continue catching the lightning in a bottle that was 'Bella Donna' (which isn't even my favorite Stevie album).
