Because we can. It's our place to bitch about stuff; but don't let some interloper on the street bad-mouth our band, those'd be fighting words. Fleetwood Mac as a whole, nor the individual members, are above criticism.
And, really, if you HAVE to add the qualifying line "for their age" or "all things considered" to a comment about how somebody looks, then it becomes a back-handed compliment.
So, I definitely understand where Grace was coming from in her comments. Did I like reading them? Not necessarily, since I have that knee-jerk response to anything negative about Fleetwood Mac (except for when I go on a rant), but she's got the right to voice her opinion, for now anyway; who knows what the potential fascists in the government may try to pull on us sheep in the near future.
