(apologies for hijacking this Glenn Frey thread)

Cornell has a great voice- You Know My Name is one of the best Bond songs ever. However, I'd personally take Eddie Vedders voice any day.

How could you not understand these;

a bit of Elvis;

a bit of Dylan/Jimi;

(warning: some shouting).

How can anyone not love those?

Back on topic:
Though I appreciate the Eagles and respect their songwriting skills, I can't say I've ever been a big, big fan. Mainy because I dont find there to be enough angst/grit in their music. I've only ever been able to listen to them in short doses- usually in the car on a hot, sunny day.
Nevertheless Glenn's passing is a real shock- they are a band I've never seen but would have liked to have done (just to say I've seen them as they are one of the truly iconic bands). Its a shame to hear he suffered so much pain. I know he had a pretty damned good life though.
