Amazon's site doesn't allow you to download if you buy the set as a gift, which my partner did. So I have this wonderful box set of my favorite album that I can't even listen to unless I want to play it through my TV set (I use my PS3 for blu rays and DVDs and it plays CDs too). I'm going to visit my family tomorrow in Pittsburgh and I'm not even going to be able to take this on the plane and listen to it through my iPod, which is what I really want to do. I figured a great way to pass the time on a 5 hour flight would be 5 hours of Tusk related Fleetwood Mac. I can't believe I'm going to have to actually buy my own Christmas present in digital download form so I can take it with me.
The cruel irony. File sharing contributed to my losing my 8 year long job in the adult industry because people kept pirating our stuff and they had to cut the staff down due to loss of revenue. I fought tooth and nail trying to convince people to support artists and studios, in movies, music (and yes, porn) by paying for the media rather than illegally downloading it. And now here I am getting screwed by the very system I stood up for.
