I have the same feeling. Makes me wonder how much material is laying around -- demos, alternate mixes, live takes, etc..
I wish they would release a thoroughly executed box set featuring the middle, transitional period of the band - Kiln House, Future Games, Bare Trees, Penguin, Mystery to Me, and Heroes are Hard to Find. I'd hope that each album could contain lots of bonus material, photos, quotes and extensive liner notes.
