It's true they came joint third on the Forbes list for successful female artists this year. Only Katy Perry and Taylor Swift were ahead. FM managed to beat Lady Gaga and Beyonce, and Madonna wasn't in the top 10.
Women in the business are judged so harshly. It's a shame that they didn't do something better with Grace in the 1980s. She quite clearly regrets and is bitter about the whole experience with Starship.
Some artists do age better than others as performers. I think that Madonna should have quit awhile ago. I still have her Ray Of Light album, which I thought showed some signs that she may be maturing and she seemed to have found more vocal range. But it didn't last. Her only medium is high energy pop and no matter how fit you are it's difficult to keep going with that past a certain age.
I don't think that Christine would have had much work done - certainly not as much as Madonna - but she looks remarkable for her age of 72. Based on her recent form, I think that Stevie will continue for awhile longer.

Chris is looking even better now than she did at the start of the tour, and if I were a betting person I'd bet she's been hooked up with talented hair/makeup/clothing/cosmetic touch ups people by Stevie. That's not a criticism; I'd love to know who Stevie uses....
