Fleetwood Mac is the only band I know of that had one of their roadies fill in for the song he knows and plays during a sound check. He does a great job but still flubs the song and missed the beat about midway. Fleetwood Mac is a professional band. They are not going to play botched songs. They are also not going to play songs they have not practiced for the tour. Someone even wrote they should have played landslide again. Now isn't that silly? How about a puppet show? Charades? 
The Rolling Stones would not perform if Charlie Watts was ill. The Eagles were not perform if Don Henley was ill. Not sure why FM should be held to a different standard. |
