Last night's Fleetwood Mac Concert took a turn for the better
when Lindsey Buckingham walked over to bandmate Stevie
Nicks. The two could be heard arguing as a stunned audience
witnessed Mr. Buckingham's legendary temper. According to
eyewitnesses Ms. Nicks wanted to end the show as one of the
founding members of the group Mick Fleetwood (drummer) was
incapacitated (tacos?) half way through the set. Lindsey pulled
Stevie's in ear monitors off and as Christine McVie approached
Lindsey took his guitar and smashed the teleprompter Stevie had
relied on all night.
That must have worked. Because the band finished the set with
the most inspired versions of...

Name any concert of any group where a member leaves the stage incapacitated and continues to play without them. How do you perform without a drummer? Even if Stevie got sick it would be disrespectful to the fans and the group to go on like nothing is happening.
Fleetwood Mac is the only band I know of that had one of their roadies fill in for the song he knows and plays during a sound check. He does a great job but still flubs the song and missed the beat about midway. Fleetwood Mac is a professional band. They are not going to play botched songs. They are also not going to play songs they have not practiced for the tour. Someone even wrote they should have played landslide again. Now isn't that silly? How about a puppet show? Charades?
The Rolling Stones would not perform if Charlie Watts was ill. The Eagles were not perform if Don Henley was ill. Not sure why FM should be held to a different standard.
