In the Mac's prime, the trend for the Bond themes was sexy ballads (Nobody Does It Better, For Your Eyes Only, ect) so I think the Mac would've been severely out of place.

Well, thats not to say they can't make that sort of music. Christine in my eyes is the least likely candidate for a Bond song writer and yet she'd be capable of writing a big production power ballad
(and Christine McVie music is often 'sexy'). I'm thinking of now- in my eyes something along the lines of I'm So Afraid would be more along the lines of the Chris Cornell song from Casino Royale.
