CDs are quickly going the same way as cassettes and VHS video tape? That's news to me.

CD reissues and box sets are being released all the time. In fact, over the last few years it seems that CD re-releases of particular albums and CD box set releases of archive material have increased.

This makes the fact that Mirage and Tango In The Night not having been remastered and expanded yet seem even more odd.

As mentioned by another forum member above... there is a big demand amongst certain music fans to have some sort of physical product when it comes to buying an album rather than just settling for a download.
