I was just searching for a thread about Wish You Were Here and stumbled across this one.
I love Wish You Were Here and I find it so sad that it gets such a bad press- I was livid when the reviewer gave it a low rating in the recent Uncut music guide. For some people it may be a tad simplistic, fluffy and soppy. For me its an epic slow burner that builds to a crescendo and must rank as one of Fleetwood Mac's most romantic songs (she has a couple on Tusk that run it close). The last minute or so of instrumentation is powerful enough on its own.
So I open this thread and lo and behold I read the opening post. What's wrong with the World? It's a fantastic, beautiful song. Let some love into your hearts people.
