If anyone knows what sales figures were like in the mid 80's, please share with us because I've seen many articles which state that sales were down in the early 80's which is why Mirage, #1 for five weeks and #2 for a further eleven weeks, only sold 2 million copies.

So, Christine's album spent three consecutive weeks at #26. To be at #26 in 1984, were sales around 50,000? Something like that? I don't know, I'm just guessing but if anyone has a rough idea then please share.
