All of her obvious clunkers took a while for me to warm up to. The entire Street Angel album took me for a loop. I didn't know how to process it. It took a long time to put it into context.
"If I Were You" is a perfect example of a song that needed time to appreciate. While I might have said
"I don't really need this in my life, why don't we forget about it?"
Apparently I did need it, and never forgot about it.
