How much more should we expect from them? They are not immortal. Mick has stated that they will be wrapping up in the next year or so. This tour has been somewhat of a victory lap. The most we can hope from them is one final album. Of course it would be suitable for Stevie to be part of it. If she opts out of it for her own selfish reasons, so be it. (Just wait for her to express regrets for her decision years later).
There is no reason why they can't finish and release the album sans Stevie. The band has a history of carrying on despite loosing key members. Buckingham McVie is powerful artistic entity unto themselves. And from what they have told us, they are very proud of the songs they created together. At this end point, it's not about sales or chart success or touring. It's about giving their fans a goodbye note in the form of an album, especially poignant because of Christine's contributions.
When Fleetwood Mac ceases, I guess we'll have some solo albums and re-releases, and compilations to look forward to.
