I would welcome a new FM album w/o Stevie, however I wouldn't love her not being on it. And if they did a tour w/o her, I personally would not care about seeing it. I'm a Stevie fan, can you tell (not that I don't like the other's work).
As far as the whole Stevie situation currently, I think she is just exhausted. She has been touring for a few years straight now. Plus, this has been a massive tour. I'm certain it's not the most uplifting environment for her. It never has been though, has it? Of course she is wanting time away from FM after being with them for so long, just to work on her solo stuff. Stevie is totally looking forward to July to relax from it all. In that time she will either A) Work on solo stuff or B ) relax and work on solo stuff after November.
She isn't really needing a couple of years away from FM, just a few months or so to relax, work on solo stuff (at her own time and pace), and reconnect with herself. Then, say in the second half of 2016, work on the new FM album and talk about doing a tour. I think it would be great if they released a new album in 2017 and did another (though not so big) world tour in line with the 40th anniversary of Rumours. Then, if they wanted to, end it all there. It'd be kind of fitting, I think.
There, that's my two cents.
