This is the nature of their relationship. It always has been and always will be. Now imagine having to go to work with that person from your past that you loved so much, had a horrible break up with. Not to mention the livelihood of others depended on that work. You'd leave the band, have a breakdown, do too many drugs, drink too much, etc. It makes perfect sense to me at nearly 67 Stevie is over it.
