On the other thread I moved the White Album thing. It wasn't a double album so, not sure why I thought.... I think Chili always told us to stop calling it the White Album anyway.

the interview was a re-print of their interview with him in 1978. So he's talking about Rumours-era FM. And I suspect as a Brit he knew the McVies and Mick when he talks about knowing them … and he was probably comparing the Peter Green era band with the then-current Rumours-era band, and I could see how he would think Rumours was mellow in comparison to that.
