I have a hard time believing that they pitched all of those much delayed tour books because of that (somewhat inconsequential)album cover mistake. That may have been an assumption of a fellow Ledgie...and then got passed around to the point where it is now considered fact.
There have been plenty of inaccuracies in Fleetwood Mac releases throughout the years. I've never heard of any of those being destroyed and reprinted.
Still, who were the idiots responsible for that??? They obviously weren't familiar with the band at all! The curious thing is that the bird photo is from a CD issued in Germany by some obscure distributer...and contains music from the Boston Tea Party concerts in 1969.
There is no excuse for this mistake. Further evidence that Fleetwood Mac is supported by an unprofessional, out-of-touch and seemingly inept staff that do nothing to serve their fans and everything to make the band look bad.
