Lindsey is infinitely the most articulate member of the band when speaking about their inner dynamics. His wide perspective and deep insights really get to the truth of the matters. I've never heard him address and discuss issues so sincerely and directly.
He seems to have more humility and gratitude than ego and attitude. I have a new-found respect for him. Aside from Mick's books, if any other band member decided to write a truly intellectual and authentic autobiography it would be Lindsey. In this interview, he pretty much has already done that.

Lindsey is definitely the band intellectual or "mad scientist."
He articulates well but can occasionally be pedantic, particularly when he talks about cycles and painting on a canvas. If he hadn't succeeded in music, I could have seen him as a college professor, teaching Music Philosophy 101.
