And it IS different. You keep thinking that things are the same as back when they were young and in the prime of their careers and had to keep going. Since they reunited the Rumours lineup for The Dance that's all it was ever going to be. They weren't going to go back replacing members with new guys anymore. They aren't a current band who can establish a new lineup with hit songs and albums. They're an oldies band and the fans, hardcore and casual alike, aren't going to be receptive of new band members. At this point they don't have to keep going. They can just retire. There's no reason for them to bring on new band members and try to make it again.

I would be, but I get what you're saying and I'd be OK with them retiring at this point.
