That kind of defies the character of band Fleetwood Mac as displayed throughout their tumultuous history. Despite the upheavals, they have always moved forward. This fatalistic expression of sentiment is similar to that of the fans that couldn't (and still don't) accept the band as Fleetwood Mac without Peter Green.
So many definitive statements are being expressed regarding this situation! Speculation is reasonable, but the
"should nots" and
"will nots" are so bluntly absolute.
