Eric Murphy and his husband, Ian, are used to traveling around the Midwest to see concerts, spending $80 to $120 per ticket to see high-profile acts such as Lady Gaga and Nine Inch Nails.
But for Wednesday's Fleetwood Mac reunion show at Wells Fargo Arena, the couple has shelled out $179.50 each for prime tickets on the floor.
"This one I think is the most we've spent," Murphy said. "Christine McVie being back in the band was the big draw for me. It seemed like the right time to see them."
And that's nowhere near the most expensive ticket. A front-row-center seat costs a cool $550.
Even a cheaper ticket somewhere in the 300 (upper) level will cost you $49.50 a seat — about the same price as the group's Des Moines stop two years ago.
