Well, I'm back in the velvet underground of my beloved Savannah after departing from Atlanta this morning.
I was sitting with Jason last night as he typed up the opening post of this thread, and really all I have to add is that Stevie had energy for days, guys!
Stevie loves her some Hotlanta! She gave us a shout-out during Gypsy, and she even tried to do a mock Southern accent when she said "Atlaaaaaanta Georrrrrgia.............YOU ROCK!!!"
She shimmied, she swished, she twirled, she did alot of little kicks, she threw her head back, and was generally all over the stage! I was loving seeing her command that stage like the high priestess she is!
During GYOW, Lindsey and Stevie exchanged sides of the stage. Stevie went over and gave those of us in the balcony on Lindsey's side some good tambo love and waves for a few minutes, and Lindsey did the same for the balcony on her side. They seem to really be sharing the stage now, not competing for it, which is nice.
If you only went to the first Atlanta show, this show was like a completely different one.
Chicago, here we come!
Also, Jason and I didn't even go to the Four Seasons after the show, because we had very good reason to think the band isn't staying there.......... inside sources, you know
