Wow, I will have to listen. I don't recall ever hearing this.
I love little known music mysteries like this.

Did you know the "Turn it up" at the beginning of Sweet Home Alabama was a mistake? The singer was talking about the music in his headphones before singing. After listening to the song, they thought it sounded cool to leave it in the song.

And Beat it from Michael Jackson. The door knock before the guitar solo was also by accident. There was a janitor that was knocking on the door to clean the studio and it was picked up on tape. They decided to leave it in anyway.

During the 20 year anniversary of Rumours it was described how they almost lost the entire album since all the recordings were on tape. There was no digital in those days. And they played the tape so many times that it no longer had a crisp sound. They they had to mix the original tape with the new additional tape with the overdubs and other things together. I wonder if this sound is part of this process.
