but sadly cameras would never capture what really goes on because they won't let it happen. anyone who thinks that the Tusk or Destiny Rules docs are not very, very sanitized is naive. If you watched the Tusk doc you'd think it was all pretty hunky-dory when most of the insider accounts of what it really was like talk about the fights and the yelling and the back and forth with Stevie and Lindsey; about the incredible tension between Stevie and Mick over Sara; the coke being passed around and so on. Did you see any of that on film? A resounding NO.
Even the DR doc… very watered down. They completely and totally skimmed right over the big fights over the final running order and length of the album, where Stevie threatened not to tour more than the original 40 dates if LB got his way.... The angry words flying across the ocean like some seabirds… Totally white washed.
A *real* doc like some other bands have done would be AMAZING. (The Metallica one was riveting and I'm not really even a fan). I would be absolutely glued to every episode!
