I think "all at our worst" probably just means Stevie's substance abuse and his own vicious short-temperedness around that time. And maybe any problems Mick was having at the time.
If Stevie isn't the one singing "tell me lies" and "you can't disguise" in the chorus of LL, I'm shocked. I'd be amazed if her voice could be approximated THAT closely through production tricks. How can we find out for sure? Richard Dashut?
