Besides as Stevie and her fans will tell you, she's the most prominent member of the band, so she's definitely going to be the focus of criticism, for reasons having nothing to do with her gender. The last time I looked, Christine was a woman too and she doesn't get the criticism Stevie gets. It has nothing to do with Stevie's sex, but it's always fun to yell misogyny.
