I know, I shouldn't have said "any" of their albums, I meant any of their albums with Frusciante. My mistake.
Frusciante and Lindsey are similar players in that they're all about servicing the song, not just showing off (except for maybe "Come"
). In fact, I read a review of the last RHCP album By the Way (which I recommend highly, it's great California pop) that said Frusciante must've been listening to Lindsey when they recorded the album.
As for the list, I bet when they print the letters to the editor in the next RS, there will be at least 2 that mention Lindsey's ommission as a travesty. I just read the whole thing the other day, and it was pretty much a joke. I love the White Stripes, but Jack White doesn't even deserve to be in the top 80, let alone the top 20.
