I would agree, because I seriously doubt that every paid journalist who has reviewed the show has rose-coloured glasses. Longterm fans have biases, but I think the critics who are seeing several different bands a week or a month are a little different, a bit more objective.
At any rate, if someone wasn't at the Calgary show, they have no idea which of the reviews above is more accurate. To form an unequivocal opinion based on
not having seen a show is the definition of wearing tinted glasses.
