Sounds like a DC crowd. Seriously, I don't know if it's because DC is a political town with so many comp seats and people wanting to be "seen" at the current "big" show in town. I'm in section 119 tomorrow night at Verizon, and I hope the folks around me are into the show.. like you said, it so makes a difference.. or they can kick back and watch me, because I WILL be doing "The Dance." :-) I'll never forget when I had floor seats at the 2003 SYW show, and the people next to me just kept going in and out of the row. When "Landslide" started, some young women said "She is the only one who should sing this song," then she left to get a beer.
Just talking as I am getting excited about seeing my favorite band on Halloween. I hope everyone around me tomorrow night is just as excited!
