I was reading some of the reviews of this show which were very good. But many posted their disappointment no one in the band mentioned the horrible tragedy they just went through. I sort of get that. How could you not dedicate Landslide to the slain soldier's family or to the city as a whole.
During Christine's 1984 solo tour there was a horrible tragedy at a New Jersey theme park she played about a week prior. Several teenagers were trapped in a burning down fun house and died. It really was emotional when Christine dedicated Songbird to them. So I get their surprise and disappointment. In defense of the Mac, they are on tour and not aware of too many world events. But I thought they would have said something.
