Another Hypothetical: The Next Tour
As we all love to discuss the hypothetical when it comes to Fleetwood Mac, I was pondering what the next tour may look like - that is if we get another tour.
It does seem that at least 4/5 of FM members are excited about a new album, and I would assume that Stevie will be on board when the time comes (though I am sure that she is already).
So, assuming that next time they tour they are supporting new studio material, which songs from On With Show will be re-used. In other words, do you think the next tour will really be that different?
My thinking is that if there is another tour, even if it is behind a new album, we will get 6 new songs played live (and that would be a very optimistic guess...2 per songwriter).
As for recycled tunes, I think we would still get mostly the same material from this tour except: I Know I'm Not Wrong, Sisters Of The Moon, Seven Wonders, Over My Head, Never Going Back Again, Little Lies/Everywhere (one of Christine's Tango songs will probably get replaced). I can't imagine that with a new album that they would spend much time going back into deep cuts from previous work. Let's just hope for some stellar new songs (assuming new music is even made!).
