Ramone, Reed, Frusciante and White, (is jon spencer in the list?)
are all picks that I can live with, because they are not specific stringacrobats but do something very special musically. And the same for Lee and Thurston. (When I heard Come in concert it really reminded me of them.)
The weird thing is, Lindsey combines the skils of all of them, is an influencial songwriter, has his own style, even plays a weird axe, and is a stringacrobat, too.
He's just too complete. Let's keep him for ourselves, and let the rest of the world buy the new Mark knopfler record. They'll sleep for another millenium. And now I'm thinking of it. I don't WANNA wake them up.
