How do you synch a live guitar solo to backing track of guitar playing? That's very elaborate...Lindsey would have to know exactly when to play or not play something. Very interesting...I did not expect this on I'm So Afraid.

Listen: The entire music industry basically mimes concerts. All this business of artists like Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Celine Dion, Rhianna, Madonna singing everything live is just not true. More than half Michael Jackson's concerts were lip-synched before his HIS-tory album. It used to be hilarious...you'd see them bring a girl up onstage for "You are not alone" and he'd be hiding his mouth when she hugged him and the singing kept going. It can be easy to spot for the dancers, when their vocals do not waver with movement. Touring is rough, and it's a game, especially when it's night after night. I hope Fleetwood Mac is doing everything live, but there is certainly tricks they use as we are speculating (the technology is now there to make it very convincing). Maybe Christine is nervous and has pre-recorded piano parts to start songs? She certainly looked a bit nervous in the up close HD videos. Maybe that explains the Say You Love Me debacle?
