I attended a Mirage show. Hold Me held up well! Of course it wasn't going the have the polished sheen of the studio version. It was a bit more raw, but still was a great performance. I remember instead of singing
Hold Meeeee, they sang
Hold Me yeah.
I wouldn't compare that rendering to the potential it holds now; the mini mac (Sharon, Lori, and various support musicians) would flesh it out, giving it boost.
